It seems whenever there is an emergency people quickly adapt. Folks call upon their creativity and powers of imagination as they adjust to a new way of being. Crafters make masks and medical personnel explore new treatments. I’ve noticed people in our neighborhood adjusting too. Earlier today I watched as two women, walking their respective dogs, chatted with each other from opposite sides of the street. The other day, coming back from grocery shopping, I saw two young moms conversing. One was pushing her stroller on the sidewalk while the other mom walked with her stoller on the street. It almost seemed normal.
