Shopping in the Time of Covid-19
I rarely go out these days. I am quite conscientious about sticking with the Governor’s stay-at-home order. About once every couple of weeks I head to the grocery store – typically when the gallon of milk has run out or I desperately need more ice cream.
But, to-do things had piled up, so a few days ago, I did need to go to three different stores. I went to the grocery store – Oxendale’s, because it is small and close to home and I encounter few people there. Then on to the hardware store for light bulbs and Menards for grass seed.
When I got home, I realized that I had not yet that day changed my clothes. I had done all my shopping in my pajamas! To their credit, none of the shoppers or salespeople whom I’d encountered gave me so much as a second glance.
