Being home without the option to just go anywhere, anytime, with anyone is a very unfamiliar feeling. To have a completely empty calendar has never happened, that I can recall. We all will find different ways of responding. For me, social media has been both a lifesaver and a time consumer. Walking with friends – at 6ft distancing – has been the high point of most days. Many opportunities to share have cropped up online, virtual travel, online tours of museums, concerts, operas, classes, and teaching aids. Let’s share these and create new ways of enjoying life in this time of radical change.
